Stainless Steel Blast Deflectors

Rick's old employer builds (among other things) aircraft refueling vehicles, with 3,000 to 10,000 gallon stainless steel tanks for the jet fuel. These tanks required inspection hatches, which meant that 20" diameter manholes needed to be cut into the tanks. What is left over is a slighty jagged 20" diameter disc of 10 gauge stainless steel.

Are you thinking what I was thinking? Blast Deflectors!!!

A 5,000 Gallon AvJet Refueler, Progenitor of our launch pads
The plant foreman let Rick have as many as he could carry away, so he stockpiled a bunch of these discs in my garage. He took one and cleaned it up, grinding off the jagged edge from the flame cutter and gave it a mirror like finish (like that lasted very long). and gave it to Brad for his Birthday. He had to fly back to Arizona with a 20" diameter disc of 10 gauge stainless steel in his luggage, but he was happy to do it!

We want your opinion, so make like a Chicago Democrat and vote early, vote often, vote even if you are dead. However, as this is an electronic ballot, West Palm Beach Democrats will need to find a better excuse than hanging or pregnant chads for failing to properly fill out the form.
